Navarathri It is a Hindu festival which includes worship of goddess Durga, it is known as the festival of nine nights . There are nine days in the festival excluding the last day known as Vijayadashmi, so Navarathri celebration includes a total of ten days celebration, all these ten days various forms of mother Durga are celebrated Mahashivarathri Maha Shivarathri literally means 'The Great Night of Shiva' is celebrated every year on the Krishna chathurdasi day ie, 13th night or 14th day of the waning moon. It is usually celebrated on the moonless February night, it is the time when people pray to the Lord Shiva. Deepavali known as the festival of lights, it is followed by the day of full moon on the days between October and November. The festival signifies the defeat of the evil and the spread of new light of hope over the evil. Christmas There are many celebrations following the arrival of Christmas, people celebrate its arrival with crackers and decorating the trees, it celebrated without the difference of cast or religion. Everyone celebrates the birth of the savior with great joy.
